Big changes are planned for the coastline at Musselburgh to protect against coastal flood risks, details still to be confirmed, but the council are wanting opinions on which solutions would suit the population. They have stated a desire to put the coastline back in a state better than they found it once the works are complete, hopefully by 2023.
As a club we will be submitting our needs for easy beach access and possibly more dinghy parking incorporated into a new sea wall or dune design. As individuals you all have a say also.
