Fisherrow Yacht Club, situated in Musselburgh near
Edinburgh (located here),
was founded in 1957 and caters for both yacht and dinghy
sailors. It has its own clubhouse at 97 New Street near the harbour,
where many members keeps their yachts, and owns several dinghies
(2 Lasers, 3 Picos, 1 Topper and 1 Optimist) for use by members.
The FYC boatyard to the rear of the Clubhouse is
used by dinghy owners and to accommodate the Club's two safety boats.

FYC is affilated to the RYA and is a member
of the Forth Yacht Clubs
Association. FYC is always keen to welcome new members,
whether new to sailing or experienced boat owners.

The
annual FYC Regatta will take place over two days on the weekend of
20/21 June Visitors from other clubs are welcomed. This year the regatta will incorporate the Laser II Scottish Champiopnship. The first race is 1100 on Saturday, with registration at 0915 and the briefing at 1000.

Every Friday Clubhouse and Bar Open
Every Friday evening from about 9 pm, the
Clubhouse and Bar are open for members and their guests. Come along to
meet old friends and make new ones and perhaps try one of Tim's
interesting selection of real ales.
Every Thursday Thursday Afternoon Natter
The Clubhouse is open every Thursday
afternoon for a natter - coffee and biccy only 50p! This is s regular
social get-together with a sailing theme, where the conversation may
range far and wide and the DVDs from Fawlty Towers to Heavy Weather
Sailing!
